Items are accepted for credit or exchange in the U.S. if: (i) the items are returned within 30 days of the date the items are delivered; (ii) the items are in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation. Please do not send us articles that do not meet the return criteria listed above, as we do not issue refunds for non-qualifying items.
Due to their personalized nature, the following orders are nonreturnable: items that have been modified, engraved, or resized; items that have previously been exchanged; and custom designed jewelry. If you have a special request for a later delivery date, our 30 day return/exchange period begins on the date that your order was delivered.
To Return an Item:
If you would like to return any item that you purchased from JouleShop for a refund or exchange and the item that you would like to return meets the criteria set forth in this return policy, please email us at email@example.com. In your email, please reference your order number, the item you are returning and describe the reason for the return:
- Jewelry items with a value of $35 or more should be returned with insurance and a trackable shipping method.
- All product packaging (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item.
- Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.
- Items that have been resized, damaged or otherwise altered after delivery will not be accepted for return.
- If items are being returned not due to a defect or error made by Seller, shipping costs will be deducted from the Buyer's refund. Any returns showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return.
After we receive an item for return or exchange, we will inspect the item and verify its condition and whether the item qualifies for a return or exchange. Returns take approximately 5 business days to process upon receipt of the item. If you are requesting a refund, JouleShop will refund the original purchase amount of the item via the mode of payment used in the original purchase, less the return shipping fees (unless the reason for the return is our error or the item was received damaged or defective). For all credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear.
Unless the item for which you are requesting a refund or exchange was received damaged or defective, you will be responsible for the cost to return the item to JouleShop for refund or exchange. If you receive an item in a damaged or defective condition, please immediately notify JouleShop by sending us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org advising us of the damage or defect.
